Anthony Phillip Hackett 'Tony'

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 9th November 2023. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Lynn. Proud and loving father of Cameron, Aynsley and Bree. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Robert and Julie, Graeme and Emma, Jenny and Derek Height, Jill Pocock (dec’d), Joanne and Charly Wilson, Cathy Kennedy, Chris Kennedy and David and Donna Campbell. Fond uncle of his nieces and nephews. Aged 68 years.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Michael’s Cathedral, Church St. Wagga Wagga on Monday 20th November 2023, commencing at 10:30am. Following Prayers after Mass, the cortege will leave for the Wagga Wagga Monumental Cemetery, Kooringal Rd. Wagga Wagga. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend or view the service via the window below. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted at the Church on behalf of St. Vincent De Paul Christmas Appeal.   

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Jane Hill, Dr. Sam Bolitho, Dr Martin Jude, Dr. Genevieve Brady, Dr. Enas Sedrak and Joana Hamilton from Glenrock Country Practice, the kind and dedicated Palliative Care nurses and Palliative Care volunteers and the staff at Catholic Health Care, especially the Community workers who came to our house every day and helped us care for Tony over the last 4 months.
