Christine Marianne Lindsay "Christa"

Passed away peacefully on Sunday 20th September 2020 at Calvary Riverina Hospital Palliative Care, Wagga.  Dearly loved wife of Tom.  Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Inge & Colin Plater, step-brother Stephen Karas and Joan & David McDonagh.  Adored “aunty Christa” of Carolyn, Lee-Anne & husband Gene and great aunt of Cassidy, Shayna, Joel, Imogen and Jordan.  Loved by Tom’s children Daren & wife Peta, Brett & Lisa and Amanda, and greatly loved by grandchildren Rosie-Maye, Ben, Cameron, Kane, Jade, and all the great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Aged 70 years.

Heartfelt gratitude to all the medical and support staff at Calvary Riverina Hospital Palliative Care and Support Services and Allied Health Teams, the Wagga Base Hospital’s Health Service and Allied Health and Support Services, Dr Graffin and Dr Jude and all of Christa’s friends, co-workers and loved ones who have warmly supported her and her family during this time.

In keeping with Christa’s wishes, a private cremation was held on Wednesday 23rd September 2020.

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one,
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun,
Of happy memories that I leave behind when life is done.
