Garnet Thomas O'Connell "Garry"

Formerly of “Woodlands”, Lockhart. Garry passed away peacefully on the 29th January, 2023, aged 95 years. Beloved husband of Miriam (dec). Beloved brother of John, Cobber, Helen, and Desmond (all dec'd). Loving father and father-in-law of Martin & Rosemary, Christine & Terry, Anne & Russell, Elizabeth & Russell, Garnet, Michael & Lindi, Robert & Dominica and Catherine & Robert. “Pa Garry” to 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Requiem Mass for the eternal repose of Garry’s soul will be offered in St Mary’s Catholic Church, Ferrier St. Lockhart on Friday 3rd February 2023 commencing at 2:00pm. Following Mass the funeral cortege will proceed to the Lockhart Cemetry. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend or may view the Mass via the livestream window below:
