Passed away at Calvary Riverina Hospital.  Loving son of David and Olga (both dec’d). Loving brother of Margaret Rees, John, Jennifer, Christopher and Patricia.

Vincentian Priest of the Catholic Church for 58 years.

Rector of Vianney College Wagga Wagga for 18 years.

A Prayer Vigil including Evening Prayer of the Church (not Mass) will be held at St Michael’s Cathedral on Sunday 6th July at 7:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Fr Thompson at St Michael’s Cathedral, Johnston St, Wagga Wagga, on Monday 7th July 2025, commencing at 2:00pm.  Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend.

Committal Prayers will be offered at the Portland Cemetery, Sunny Corner Rd, on Tuesday 15th July 2025, Commencing at 12 midday. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend.
