Rita Dulcie Burkinshaw

Rita was a caring mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Rita was well cared for and enjoyed her stay at the Lockhart Hospital and will be sadly missed.

Rita passed peacefully at Lockhart District Hospital on Wednesday 11th October 2023, formerly of Red Hill Rd. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Ross & Rosina, Narelle & Paul, Janice, Bronwyn & Bruce and Max & Janine. Loving Nanna to Millissa, Luke, Emma, Katie, Matt, John, Laura, Nic, Emily, Drew and great-grandmother of Violet, Caleb, Annabelle, Eloise, Theo and Amelia. Loved sister of her brothers, sisters and their families. Aged 91 years.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be offered in Wesley Uniting Church, Johnston St, Wagga Wagga on Thursday 19th October 2023. commencing at 10:00am. Following the service the cortege will leave for the Wagga Lawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
