This Thursday, June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD), a United Nations designated day to collectively voice our opposition to the abuse of older people, which can commonly occur by their families, partners or someone in their community.
One of the most important steps in protecting older people from abuse is having a greater awareness about the signs of abuse, and knowing what to do to take action. Take a couple of minute out of your day to watch this informative video prepared by the Gov NSW.
