John Leslie Watson

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital on 17th March 2024, late of Settlers Village. Aged 81 years.

 Only son of Les & Laurie Watson (both dec d). Dearly loved husband for 57 years to Judy. Loving and proud father of Simon & Michelle, and Mark & Vicki, and grandchildren Jacob, Fletcher, Harry and Cooper. Loving brother to his sister Valair & Terry (dec’d) McAuliffe of Bowral. Brother in-law to John & Neita (dec’d) Mason, Marie & Colin Engelbrecht, Meg & Eric (dec’d) Koetz, Pat (dec’d) & Alice Mason, Margery & Roy Toshack, and Tony & Dianne Mason. Uncle to his nieces and nephews and a special nephew to his aunt Betsy.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St Michael’s Cathedral, Church St. on Monday 25th March 2024, commencing at 10:30am. Following the service, the funeral cortege will proceed to the Wagga Wagga Lawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
